6. OPERATION

After connecting the right speaker to the main unit(the left speaker), connect the  mains plug into
the household mains  outlet socket then switch the power on using  the ON/OFF switch located on
the rear of the left speaker.

NOTE:

Ensure the main power switch on the rear of the unit is set to on.  Press the STANDBY button on the front panel or STANDBY key
on remote control to switch the unit ON/OFF. When the unit is in standby   OFF   will show in the display.

Rotate the volume control on front panel or use the VOL +/- keys on the remote to adjust the volume level.

On front panel: press the FUNC key repeatedly until the display shows BASS then rotate the volume control to select the required
bass level.
On remote: press BASS +/- to select the required bass level.

On front panel: press the FUNC key repeatedly until the display shows 3D then rotate the volume control to turn the 3D function on
or off.
On remote: press 3D key to turn 3D function on or off.

Press the MUTE key on the remote to mute the audio.   MUTE   will show in the display. To cancel mute press the mute key again.

Upto 4 additional audio devices can be connected to this unit i.e. DVD/AUX/TV/VCR and Tuner(built in unit).
On front panel: press INPUT key repeatedly until the required input is selected.
On remote: Select the input directly using the DVD, AUX, TV, VCR or TUN/BAND buttons.

Select the TUNER input using one of the above methods.

Press BAND key on front panel or on remote  to select the required band,  AM or FM.

Press the AUTO key on remote for more than 2 seconds. The display will show  AUTO and the selected band is scanned for
receivable stations. The maximum number of stations stored for each band is 20.

Press TUN+ or TUN- keys on front panel or remote to manually change the frequency. To automatically search to the next station

press the TUN+ or TUN- keys for more than 2 seconds.

1-10th station: press 1-10 number key on remote to go to 1-10th station directly.
11-20th station: press 10+ & other number key to go to 11-20th station.
For example : To select 15th station, press 10+ key first, then press 5 key, 15th station  is selected.

Before searching for a station, first choose the memory preset to store the station into.
Press TUN+ or TUN- to search for the required station(see MANUAL TUNING above). Then press the MEMORY key on the remote
control to store the station.

For example: To store station FM 97.50  MHz into preset number 8
1. Select the FM band using the BAND button.
2. Press the number 8 key.
3. Use the MANUAL TUNING method to locate 97.50 MHz .
4. Press MEMORY key on the remote control.

To eliminate hiss on stereo FM stations press the STEREO key on the remote control to receive the broadcast in MONO.

Tuner Operation

On front panel: press the FUNC key repeatedly until the display shows TREBLE  then rotate the volume control to select the
required treble  level.
On remote: press TREBLE  +/-  to select the required treble  level.

On front panel: press the FUNC key repeatedly until the display shows BALANCE  then rotate the volume control to set the balance
position.
On remote: press L or R keys to set the required balance position .
