Help and Advice
Note: If none of the above suggestions seem to work, try switching your DVD
Player off and then on again.
Warning: If this does not work, contact either your supplier
or a qualified DVD repair technician. Never attempt to repair
a DVD Player yourself.
The DVD Player Will Not Power Up
1. Ensure that the plug is connected to the mains socket.
2. Replace the fuse in the plug.
Disc Does Not Play
1. Check that the Disc has been correctly loaded, with the label facing up.
2. Check the format of the disc is supported.
3. Ensure the DVD disc is Region 2.
No Picture
1. Ensure that the DVD Player and the Television is powered on.
2. Check that the scart cable is fitted securely.
3. Ensure that the Television has the AV channel or equivalent selected.
4. Try a different DVD disc, that you are sure works ok.
No Sound
1. Check that the DVD Player has not been muted.
2. Ensure the volume on the television and DVD is set to an audible level.
3. If you are using a normal TV, make sure that the audio setup is set to 2CH.
4. Ensure that the scart lead is fitted securely.
The Picture Quality Is Poor
1. Make Sure that the DVD disc surface is not damaged.
2. Clean the DVD disc, and try again.
3. Ensure that the scart lead is fitted securely.
4. Check that NTSC output format has not been selected. (Refer to the Setup section).
Incorrect OSD Language
1. Refer to the Setup section of the user guide and change the OSD (On Screen Display) Language.
Some Functions Do Not Work (Angle, Zoom etc.)
1. Refer to the DVD disc contents. Not all functions are available on all DVD discs.
No Response From The Remote Control
1. Ensure that the path between the remote control and the front of the DVD Player is not obstructed.
2. Check that the batteries have been correctly fitted.
3. Replace the batteries.
