2. Installation and Usage
Windows 2000 / XP
The PocketDrive is fully compatible with plug & play capability under
Windows XP
and 2000.
No driver installation is needed under these systems. With the device
properly plugged, a
Removable Disk
drive with system-assigned drive letter will
appear in
My Computer
. You can write and read files to and from the device as
you would with an ordinary disk drive.

To Safely Remove the Device
Before unplugging the device from your computer, make sure to use the
unplug/eject hardware icon in the system tray to safely remove the device. This
ensures that you will not lose data in case file transfer is on going between the
device and the computer.
1. In the notification area, right-click the
unplug/eject icon and select
Safely Remove
Hardware
.
2. Select the device you want to unplug, click
Stop
and then
OK
.
