Dear Customer,

Thank you for purchasing the Magic Ear. 
Follow every word of a conversation, radio dialogue or TV programme with the amazing 
Magic Ear. Compact and discreet, the Magic Ear hearing amplifier is easy to wear and very 
easy to hear with.  A class IIa medical device, this little miracle of microtechnology boosts 
sound so it’s louder and easier to hear. Which means you can join in conversations, listen 
to music or enjoy a film, radio or TV programme without straining. Powered by a single A13 
battery (included) it’s supplied complete with 3 different sized ear tips.

Battery:

This device uses LR754 batteries.
When battery charge is depleted, replace the battery.

Flip the battery cover out to reveal the battery compartment.
Ensure the battery is inserted the correct way up, with the positive (+) side on the 
battery connecting to the positive (+) connection within the device.

Usage:

1.  Before use, ensure the on/off switch is switched to “O”. Set the volume to “0” by 
turning the volume dial to avoid risk of the device producing an uncomfortable level 
of sound when switched on.

2.  Select a suitable ear tip size for your ears. Do not insert ear 
tips into the ear without first connecting to the device as they 
may be difficult to remove.

3.  To wear, place the Earphone (with an eartip connected) into 
the ear. 

Place the main body of the unit behind the ear so the device 
hooks over and rests behinds the ear.

5.  Once fitted comfortably, switch on the device by moving the on/off switch to “N”. 
 
6.  Gradually increase the volume using the volume dial untl the sound is at 
acomfortable level.

If there is an echo it may indicate the volume is too high.

Cleaning:

To clean the main unit and earphone use a soft, dry cloth.

Ear Tips can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent.

Avoid letting the device come into contact with water. Doing so can damage the 
device and may void your warranty. 

Troubleshooting:

If no sound is produced by the device:
1. Check the battery is inserted correctly.
2. Replace the battery with a new one.
3. Ensure device is switched on and the volume dial is set above 0.

If the sound produced seems weak or vague, the battery may have insufficient charge 
and will need replacing.
