3 Intended Use
Your
HDMI™ Splitter is provided for audio-/video use only.
We
do not permit using the device in other ways like described in
chapter “Description and Function“ and „Safety Instructions“.
Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to
these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
4 Connecting and Operation
Risk of injury by stumbling and falling
•
Mind placing cables in a way, nobody will be
disabled and the cable not be damaged.
• Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that
persons cannot be injured, or objects not be damaged for
example by dropping or stumbling.
Material damage due to wrong placement and
wrong voltage supply
•
Only place on non-slipping surface.
•
Use only the supplied power supply.
4.1 System requirements
•
HDMI™ equipped source devices such as a DVD/Blu-ray player
with HDMI™ cables or DVI to HDMI™ cables.
•
HDMI™ equipped displays (TVs or monitors) with HDMI™
cables.
4.2 Connecting
1.
Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all equipment to be used and
ensure compatibility.
3. Connect the HDMI™ cable from the HD source to the input port
of this HDMI™ Splitter.
4. Connect the HDMI™ cables from your displays (monitor or
projector) to the outputs of this Splitter.
5. Plug the 5 V DC power supply into this HDMI™ Splitter DC
input.
6. Turn on the power then the HDTV signal will be distributed to
each HDTV display.
When displaying a 3D signal with a higher bandwidth than 225 MHz
or a 4K2K resolution source, a High Speed HDMI™ cable is required.
