WARNING
THE WINGS ARE FRAGILE!!
- If you scrape your Wing on the ground, it becomes more fragile and can break
- If you let your Wing get taken away by the waves, it can and will deteriorate.
- If you fall violently with your Wing, it may explode: Have the flex to drop your Wing
throughout falls.
- If you over-inflate your Wing and/or let your wing under sun exposure, then it may
explode on the beach or in use. Do not rely on the pressure gauge and follow step 5
on page 21.
- If you pull the Wing leash violently, you can tear open the leading edge.
- If you pass with your foil or your fins over the Wing, you will tear it.
- If you carry your board with a foil, at the same time as your Wing, you risk piercing
your Wing with the stab or the front Wing of your foil.
- If you don’t unroll your Wing completely to inflate it, it can explode.
- If you roll and deflate your Wing on a surface that is not perfectly smooth, you risk
piercing your Wing.
- If you hang your Wing to dry it or if you shake it deflated, the bladder can move in
the sheath and cause a fold, potentially causing a hernia/explosion during the next
inflation.
- Caution ! The larger your Wing diameter, the less pressure it requires to gain the same
stiffness: A Wing with a large leading edge will require much less pressure than a wing
with a small leading edge to gain the same stiffness.
BUT… THE WINGS ARE REPAIRABLE!
- If your bladder is pierced, you can replace it by ordering on our site

- If the canvas of your Wing is damaged, you can have it repaired in sailcloth.
To remain light and pleasant in navigation, your Wing must imperatively
be designed from light and fine materials. It is therefore a material
that must be used with care !
GONG Wings aren’t more fragile than the others: quite the contrary!
