3.1. Dip-switches configuration
To configure the lift controller unit, the following steps must be taken:
- Set the unit number setting it up with the dip-switches.
- Reset the unit.
- Finally, access with the web browser to the factory default IP address and configure the module in the web client.
4. DEVICE INSTALLATION
For the decive installation, first we must make sure that it is connected to the 12V power supply or, failing that, to a D4L-G+/PoE output.
In case only one lift controller unit is required ( until the 16th floor), we will configure the dip-switches so that is configured as unit number
1 or Master.
Reset the unit by pressing the reset pushbutton until the “PWR” led turns red and when it is operational again, access the web client through
the web browser typing the
10.0.0.253
IP address.
In case you need to install more lift controler units (with each of them will increase in 16 the number of floors that we can reach) to reach a
bigger number of floors, we will connect them through the
“A+, A- y GND”
ports
.
Later, we will do the same procedure as in the case where there is only a slingle lift controller unit. We shall install and configure each of the
lift controller units required in the installation one by one.
The device must be connected to the network through the
LAN
port by which it will only receive data, that is to say, it must be connected to
a
NON PoE
output of the switch if we power it at 12V.
Necessary elements to complete an installation:
• FA-G+ power supply for each 8 devices (placas calle, monitores…).
• Make the distribution of the different devices through 4 distributed outputs D4L-G+/PoE distributors or via standard PoE
switches.
• Choose 6502/G+ door panels, or a modular composition for the Nexa panel to be able to register all the units in it and set a video
intercom system as such.
• Choose ART 1/G+ audio units, de ART 7/G+/48 video units, or ART 7W/G+/48 units with integrated Wi-Fi to receive calls
through the app (available for Android and IOS).
• Add ART 7/G+/PCM or ART 7W/G+/PCM video units if you wish that your indoor unit has a PCM/G+ private call panel.
• In case of a daisy-chain distribution of the devices (IN/OUT), employ DCP/G+ injectors, accompanied by FA-DC48/G+ power
supply and DCS/G+ Ethernet switches in monitors.
