Operating Your Electric Throw
Your Goldair Electric Throw is equipped with a 3 heat controller.
3 HEAT CONTROL
The control features a button switch to adjust the heat setting.
1.
Low, Gentle Heat
2.
Medium Heat
3.
High Heat
The control features an ON/OFF switch at the back of the controller and the blanket will
be on the HIGH setting.
Once turned on press the temperature button to move between HIGH, MED & LOW
heat settings.
The controller also features a 3 hour auto-off timer which cannot be adjusted. Once you
turn the main switch on at the back of the controller the timer will commence the
countdown to off.
NOTE: When using on the Electric Throw some people may experience a tingling
sensation whether alone or when touching someone else using the Electric Throw.
This
“tingling sensation”
is known as an electric field effect and caused by the current
flowing through the elements creating an Electromagnetic Field (EMF). Some people
may be more sensitive to feeling the EMF tingling sensation than others. It is known to
occur across all makes and models.
This is no cause for concern and is not an electric shock.
