INTRODUCTION
This manual covers the model # 6501 Sterno Pretzel Warmer.
Your Sterno Pretzel Warmer warranty is described on the back page of this manual.
CHECKING SHIPMENT
After unpacking, check thoroughly for any damage which may have occurred in transit. Claims should be
filed immediately with the transportation company. The warranty also does not cover damage that occurs in
transit or damage caused by abuse or consequential damage due to the operation of this machine, since it
is beyond our control.
FUEL REQUIREMENTS
We recommend the use of “STERNO BRAND” “CANNED HEAT” cooking fuel, or equivalent. This type of
fuel is a pink, jellied, ethanol- alcohol. Any other type of fuel may result in unsatisfactory performance.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Features and their Functions:
Water Pan:
Remove pan cover to fill this pan with water. This controls the humidity in the holding cabinet. If no
humidity is desired, leave pan empty.
Seven Station Pretzel Rack:
This is the rack on which the pretzels are displayed. Two rows are left out to prevent burning of product and
to improve circulation of heat.
Fuel Drawer:
The fuel drawer has an insert with three holes. One hole is to be positioned directly under the water pan
while the remaining two are positioned under the heat vent holes on the operator right side of the unit.
Note: The fuel drawer insert must be in the fuel drawer and positioned as outlined above
to achieve proper results
EASY STEPS FOR USING UNIT
Prepare Warmer for operation:
1. Pour enough water in the water pan to fill ½ inch deep.
2.
Remove lids from “Sterno” canisters.
3.
Pull fuel drawer open and place “Sterno” canisters in proper locations.
4.
Light “Sterno” canisters per instructions on sterno canister, and close fuel drawer.
5.
Load pretzels onto rack. Note: Frozen pretzels should be ready in approximately 45 minutes to 1
hour.
6.
Check “Sterno” canisters periodically to ensure that they are still lit and functioning properly.
