Outdoor Marbles
Outdoor Marbles is a game of skill for 2 players.
On the beach, in the garden, in the park – when the weather‘s
nice, the game is fun to play anywhere outdoors. It is easy to
take along with you and simple to set up.
Contents
1 start flag
1 finish flag
2 hoops with fixed widths
6 rods which can be used to build 3 more hoops of varying
width
10 marbles
Object of the game
The object of the game is to be the first player to get his or
her marbles through all of the obstacles in the course.
Preparation
First of all, try to create as flat a surface as possible. Each
bump or dip in the playing area increases the difficulty of the
marbles game.
By setting up the hoops as you wish, you determine how
difficult the obstacle course will be to play.
Using the six individual rods you build hoops which can vary
in width.
The start flag is placed in front of the first hoop, and the end
of the course is marked by the finish flag.
You must agree how many marbles each player may have at
the start – three, five or up to ten marbles.
Rules
Each player chooses a marble colour for the game. The
youngest player may begin. The player positions his or her
marbles next to the start flag and flicks them with one finger
towards the first hoop and tries to shoot the marble through
