7. Place food to be fried into the basket. Always ensure that the basket is not filled past the top.
8. Slide tongue in front of basket handle into recess in housing.(fig 4).

9. Lower basket until it stops in ‘draining’ position. In this position the basket is above the oil
level (fig 5).
10. Position the lid, and by tilting the basket back towards yourself, release the basket from the
draining position and lower it into the oil (fig 6).
