USAGE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The
GoDark® Faraday Bag
has been tested by a world leading
electronics and materials testing laboratory. However, it is important
to observe the following for continued proper functioning and to
ensure maximum privacy.
1.
Always be sure the roll-top is rolled over twice and the strap is
fastened to the GoDark plate on the front of the bag.
2.
NEVER force a device into or out of a GoDark® Faraday Bag. The
device should be able to slide in and out easily by simply tipping
the bag.
3.
NEVER use with ANY protruding cables. Although the roll-top will
allow you to roll a cable (IE. a charging cable) around the roll-top,
this is VERY dangerous as the cable can act as an antenna or wave
guide and essentially bring the signal into or out of the bag. This
will compromise the integrity of the shielding and put your
privacy at risk.
4.
Your GoDark® Faraday Bag is durable and built to last a long time.
However, care should be taken not to puncture or damage the bag
to ensure optimal performance and safety. Please note, that the
shielding can degrade over time depending on frequency of use so
it’s important to test your bag regularly.
5.
While the GoDark® Faraday Bag is water resistant, it is NOT a dry
bag and should not be submerged in water or put in the washing
machine. A damp cloth can be used to clean the outer surface of
the bag as needed.
