PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
An abnormal sound is heard
when manually pushing the
mower without starting it.
◾
The sound comes from the magnets inside the
driving motor.
◾
It is normal and no action is needed.
The steering wheel cannot be
rotated.
◾
The steering wheel assembly is clogged with
debris.
◾
Check and remove the debris.
The mower does not turn
left/right when the steering
wheel is rotated.
◾
Failure of electronic or mechanical components.
◾
Contact a qualified service technician for repair.
The mower fails to stop when
releasing the accelerator
pedal.
◾
The return path of the accelerator pedal is clogged
with debris.
◾
Check and remove the debris.
◾
The CCS button is pressed unintentionally while
driving. The mower is in cruise-control mode
◾
Check if the CCS icon is illuminated on the LCD
screen, and exit the CCS as necessary. Refer to
chapter “
USING CRUISE CONTROL (CCS)
”
The CCS function cannot be
activated or turned off.
◾
The CCS button is not pressed properly.
◾
Press the CCS button until the CCS icon is illuminated
on the LCD screen, or disappears from the LCD
screen.
The mower fails to drive
reverse when left/right
paddle(s) is pulled toward the
operator.
◾
The mower status indicator does not show green
and the mower is not ready for driving.
◾
Follow the section “
STARTING THE ELECTRIC ZERO
TURN MOWER
” to make the mower status indicator
show green and mower is ready for driving.
◾
The left/right paddle(s) is not pull toward the
operator properly.
◾
Pull left paddle or right paddle or both paddles
simultaneously toward the operator until a “click”
sound is heard.
◾
The left/right paddle(s) is not kept pulled toward
the operator.
◾
To drive in reverse, at least one of the paddles has to
be kept pulled toward the operator.
◾
The left/right paddle(s) is broken.
◾
Contact a qualified service technician for repair.
