Index Features
Tape Counter
The Tape Counter shows you the exact location of your tapes in
hours, minutes and seconds.
You can view the Tape Counter in two places:
Front Panel Display - Press
CLK/CTR
repeatedly to toggle the
front panel display between the clock and tape counter.
On-Screen Display - Press
DISPLAY
to view the tape counter
on-screen for both decks (the OSD will match the front
panel display).
To reset the tape counter:

Press
CLK/CTR
until the tape counter is displayed on the
front panel display.

Press
CLEAR
to reset the counter to 0:00:00. You can do
this anywhere on a tape.
Note: Any time you insert a tape into your Dual-Deck VCR,
the Tape Counter will reset to zero automatically.
Zero Return
Use the
SKIP
button to automatically fast forward or rewind
the tape to counter position 0:00:00. This is a handy feature
when editing videotapes.
To activate Zero Return:

Make sure the tape in Deck 1 or Deck 2 is in Stop mode.

Press
SKIP
on the remote control. Your Dual-Deck VCR
will advance to tape counter position 0:00:00 and stop
automatically.

Tape Counters
The Tape Counter appears on-
screen for both decks.
Press
CLK/CTR
to toggle the front
panel display between the clock
and tape counter.
