Now set the skin type adjustment switch (4) at
the central position (2 drops = normal skin).
Determine the skin type by placing the laser tip (6)
vertically on the skin near any acupuncture point or
an acupuncture point of your choosing (e.g. on your
hand) with a light, constant pressure and gliding it
around. The green point-detector scale (5) will now
light up to various lengths (1 to 19 light points).
If no fields or only a few fields light up, the skin type
is different.
If this is the case, set the skin type switch (4) at 1
drop = dry skin. If all of the
fields of the green point-
detector scale (5) light up constantly, you have
moist skin. Set the skin type determination switch
(4) at 3 drops = moist skin.

Point search and laser acupuncture
Now you can precisely determine the speci
fic acu-
puncture point required for treatment. Proceed with
the laser tip (6) as described above, over the area
of the skin where the
acupuncture point is
located. The contact
plate (3) must always
be in contact with the
thumb or index
finger.
The part of the
skin where the point-
detector scale (5)
shows the highest amplitude is the acupuncture
point.
Now hold the

directly above this point
and brie
fly press the laser operation button (8) until
the first led light on the point-detector scale (5) is
shining.
If you release the laser operating button
(8)
, the
laser turns on and the acupuncture begins. The
laser beam will switch off automatically after 1 min.
and the point detector is reactivated, so that you
can immediately find the next point and treat it.
