Infrared communication occurs when microswitch 2 has not

been activated.

The following examples are types of instruments that use infrared

communications:

•  Gasurveyor 700
•  Shipsurveyors
•  Gascoseeker Acclaim

The IrDA window is illustrated in Fig. 5-9 below:
