READING & WRITING OF CONFIGURATIONS
NOTE: The CM40, CM50 and CM60 Series of GME Commercial Mobiles use the “.GMC “ file format.
Reading a Configuration from a CM40 or CM50 Radio

Click the Read Radio button in the main window. The program will attempt to contact
the radio before proceeding to read the current radio firmware version, followed by a
complete EEPROM read.

Click Close when reading from the radio is completed.
With configuration details now stored in the CM40 & CM50 Programmer, a CM40 or CM50 Series
radio can be programmed per Settings on page 18. Alternatively the configuration details can be
saved to a file on your computer for later use.
NOTE:
GME Commercial recommends you keep a ‘library’ of configuration files for each of your
clients.
