Installation without wire (robot 145-S2)
145-S2 robot is able to work without perimeter wire or guide wire to recharging station.
In this working mode, the robot cuts the grass in semi-automatic mode, since at the end of work cycle the
user has to connect the robot to the charger.
Robot works on the basis of the information received from grass sensors, drop-off sensors, “bump sensor”
and inclinometer.
Robot moves in both directions and change movement direction according to the following:
•
Grass not present
•
Slope higher than specification value (absolute inclination and inclination variation)
•
Bump
•
Current on wheel motors higher than normal.
The garden has to be properly verified and modified if necessary in order to allow the robot to have enough
space to detect garden perimeter.
The following requirements shall be met in order to allow safe robot functioning (robot does not go outside
the area to be cut):
1.
Pay attention to the garden status: verify that the garden is uniform and without holes, stones or other
obstacles. Perform modifications if necessary. If it is not possible to eliminate some obstacles, it is
necessary to protect them in the proper way.
2.
The robot needs at least 25cm of grass absence in order to change movement direction. In case of
sidewalks or paving, they shall be large at least 25cm. Sidewalks or paving smaller than 25cm shall
be modified to become larger or some bows shall be installed as in figure below
