Installing Your Cooker
Connecting the electricity supply
This appliance must be fitted using a double pole unit
of 45 ampere minimum capacity with 3mm minimum
contact at all poles.
Access to the mains terminal is gained by opening the
terminal block cover at the rear of the appliance - use
a flat bladed screw driver for this.
Connection should be made with a 6.0mm
2
twin and
earth cable.
Connection between the consumer unit (45AMCB/Fuse)
and the cooker control unit should be made with
10mm
2
cable.
First strip the wires. then push the cable through the
cable clamping the terminal block cover.
Connect the cable to the terminal block and tighten the
cable clamp screw - see diagram.
Close the terminal box, ensuring that the cover is
engaged on the locking tabs.
Sufficient cable should be used to allow the cooker to
be pulled out, but must hang clear of the floor so it
does not become twisted or trapped when the cooker
is pushed back.
Please ensure that the user has this copy of the
handbook, and the appliance is in place. Thank you.
