Starting up:
The device is delivered ready to use. Turn on the device using the
ON
key.
After turning on the main menu appears or a user specific application is started.
If an application is started, this can be closed by pressing both
Shift
and
ON
.
Recharge of accumulator
The device runs with a not removable Lithium polymer battery.
To charge the battery, an inductive charging receiver according to QI standard is built in.
Charging starts automatically if the unit is placed on a suitable charger and the charging level is
shown using a LED at the charging pad.
During charging the LED is lit. If charging is finished the LED flashes with short activity time.
A complete recharging cycle lasts about 4 – 5 hours.
Increase battery run time
The TS-MX400 is equipped with intelligent Power-saving technology.
However, it requires some diligence of the user to minimize power consumption.
- So the Bluetooth interface should be activated only while it is used. An activated Bluetooth
interface shortens the battery run time substantially! This is especially true while the
connection is not established.
- The brighter the display background is enlightened the more power is consumed which results
in lower battery run time.
- Select the turn off delay as short as possible, so the device so not turned on unnecessary long
time.
- Please take care of the hints to power consumption in MX Basic manual when programming
with MX Basic.
