FIRST USE
Remove any advertising label or sticker. Wash pots and lids with warm water and mild detergent,
rinse under running water and let them dry carefully.
ATTENTION
:
Do not immerse the appliance in water or in any liquid.
INGREDIENTS
Choice of milk
It is best to select whole or semi-skimmed milk which does not need to be boiled (UHT long-life milk
or powdered milk). Whole milk makes the yoghurt smoother and gives it more flavour.
Untreated or pasteurised milk has to be boiled, then cooled down and strained to eliminate the skin.
To obtain yoghurts which are more consistent, you may add 1 or 2 tablespoons of powdered milk to
a litre of milk, mixing thoroughly.
Choice of bacillus
This is made either:

from a natural whole commercial yoghurt with a use-by date as long as possible.
