Use a 6 mm bit to drill two holes in the ceiling.

You can use the lower part / base of the smoke alarm
as a template.

Insert the dowels provided into the drill holes.
7.
Use the screws supplied to attach the base of the alarm
to the ceiling.
8.
Place the face of the alarm onto the lower part and lock it
into place by turning it clockwise.
9.
The smoke alarm is activated automatically by locking it
into the base.
