Setting the display

Setting the screensaver

You can set a picture or the time to be dis-
played as a screensaver when the handset is in 
idle status. This will replace the idle status dis-
play. It may conceal the date, time and name. 

The screensaver is not displayed in certain situ-
ations, e.g., during a call or if the handset is 
deregistered. 

If a screensaver is activated, the

Setting large font

You can increase the font size of print and sym-
bols in call lists and in the directory to improve 
readability. After doing this, only one entry 
instead of multiple entries can be shown at the 
same time on each display and names are 
shortened where necessary.

You can set the display to have a dark or light 
background.

Setting the display backlight

Depending on whether or not the handset is in 
the charging cradle, you can activate or deacti-
vate the backlight. If it is activated, the display 
is permanently dimmed. If the backlight is 
deactivated it is switched on by pressing any 
key.

You can set the loudspeaker volume for hands-
free mode and the earpiece volume to five dif-
