Display in idle status

Once the phone is registered and the time set, the idle 
display is shown as in this example. 
The internal number of the handset is shown in the 
upper left corner.

 

If the answer machine is activated (A495), the answer 
machine icon 

± 

will be displayed in the header. Your 

answer machine is set with a pre-recorded announce-
ment.

Activating/deactivating the handset

Press and 

hold

 the 

a

 key to activate or deactivate the handset. 

If you place a deactivated handset in the base station or charging cradle, it will 
automatically activate.

Your phone is now ready for use.
