Tx Bandwidth Control: Controls on speed of packets being 
transferred.

Rx Bandwidth Control: Controls on speed of packets being received.

!

Trunking: Trunk ports together to allow increased bandwidth through 
the switch, or to connect multiple switches together to increase 
VLAN capabilities.

Global Configuration

Global Configuration is used to configure the global port control registers. Press the 
‘

Refresh

’ button to read the status of the registers. Press the ‘

Update

’ button to set 

the registers as shown in this frame.

Half Duplex Backpressure Flow:

This is used to have nodes verify there is buffer space before packets are sent.

Broadcast Storm Filtering Control:

This is used to set a threshold for the number of broadcast packets to be received 
from 1 port before port forwarding is blocked.
