2. Preface

This installation guide will assist you in installing all the essential

components for rack mount server system. For your protection,

please read and understand al of the safety and operating

instructions regarding your Gigabyte Server and retain for future

reference. The procedures in this guidebook assume that you are

a system or network administrator experienced in installing similar

hardware.

The user’s guide is organized as follows:

Chapter 3

“Introduction”

provides the basic product information

and the key features of the product.

Chapter 4

“Contents Package”

lists the essential hardware

installation components.

Chapter 5

“System Installation Procedure”

provides the fully
