INTRODUCTION
The direct connection KNX single-phase energy meter measures the instantaneous active power and
energy consumed and/or produced by the system, sending corresponding signals on the KNX bus. It
can also monitor up to twenty absorption limit threshold levels. It's installed on a DIN rail inside an
electric board or junction box. The device supports KNX Data Secure: this technology increases the
security of a KNX installation both during start up as well as during normal operation through the
exchange of encrypted telegrams.
HOW TO USE THE KNX METER
The device is equipped with:
1. Power supply phase input
2. Power supply neutral input
3. Neutral output for measuring instantaneous power
Backward push-button
Forward push-button
SET SET push-button
The device has a segmented display for viewing:
7. the electric measurement/parameter visualised, the relative value and
signalling icons
8. Active parameter setting mode
9. Active power threshold; icon on if the threshold is exceeded, off if not
exceeded
10. Energy measurement unit kWh
11. Power measurement unit kW
