C. RPM DASH INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
INSTALLATION

1.
Fix the RPM Dash
in the selected point
on the motorcycle. It is
recommended to install
it on the handlebar
or, alternatively, on
the mudguard. Use
the support bracket
included in the package
if necessary.
2.
Identify the original
injector connector on the
motorcycle, which generally
is located in the top or lower
part of the throttle body.
For any specific indication,
refer to the motorcycle
workshop manual.
3.
Disconnect the
connector for the
original injector.
ATTENTION:
If working on a
motorcycle with two
injectors, make sure to
work on the main one.
ATTENTION:
- Check that the wiring
does not obstacle the
free movement of
the handlebar in both
directions;
- Check that the wiring
never obstacles or
interferes with the
moving components
of the motorcycle (e.g.
transmission) or with the
pilot (e.g. the boot area).
Pass the RPM Dash
wiring to the injector,
making sure it does not
remain exposed, or in
any case is protected.

5.
Fix the eyelet of the
earth cable to a screw
located in a protected,
unpainted point on the
engine or the frame.
6.
Install the multi-
function button included
in the package on the
handlebar using the
relative clamp. Connect
the button connector to
the corresponding RPM
Dash wiring.
4.
Connect the male
and female RPM Dash
connectors to the female
and male connectors of the
injector on the motorcycle.
INJECTOR
RPM DASH
ATTENTION:
Always make sure that
the connectors are
correctly associated;
when connecting
them, a “click” is heard
that indicates they are
connected correctly.
ATTENTION:
The earth cable eyelet
must be correctly
fastened in order
for the RPM Dash to
operate.
