USING THE FLASH BUTTON
The
FLASH
button allows the user to take advantage of special calling services offered by the
local telephone company.
FOR EXAMPLE
a.
Press the
FLASH
button to switch from current call to incoming call.
b.
Press once again to return to original call.

OTE
If the local telephone company doesn't offer these special services and the FLASH button is
pressed, the current call may be disconnected.
USING THE PAUSE BUTTON
Press
PAUSE
button to insert 3.6-second pause, during dialling, for convenience when using an
analogue PABX system.
a.
If the telephone is connected to an analogue PABX system, and the user is required to first
dial zero
0
to obtain the dial tone, a "pause" is required when entering all direct/indirect
memory numbers.
b.
Press the
STORE
button to enter desired phone number.
c.
Enter
0
followed by
PAUSE
and then the desired phone number. (Continue with step b.
or c. to store number.)
d.
This "Pause" allows the telephone time to access the dial tone, before dialling the (external
line) phone number.
e.
For convenience the
PAUSE
button can also be pressed during regular dialling, avoiding
the need to wait for the dial tone before dialling the external line.
USING THE RESET BUTTON
Press
RESET
to disconnect current call and wait for next call dialling.
ADJUSTING RINGER VOLUME
Select high HI, middle MI or low LO ringer volume by switching the Ringer Volume Switch, located
on the back side of the telephone, to the desired setting.
