Gerafold 212 Errors
When a paper jam is detected by folder logic, a red LED is lit
on and a sound alarm alerts the operator. Clean paper fold
process before continue to fold
Stop fold process
or
logic reset
after error.
Press to select the
folding programs
or Press & Hold
to
clear paper
path
Red led On 1beep
Error 1: Copy length too short < 410mm.
Pull back copy and Reset. Feed copy longer than 410mm
Red led On 2beeps
Error 2: Front or rear Folder Pocket Sensor covered by paper.
Clean folder pockets by pulling copy from exit or do the
Automatic Eject Procedure.
Red led On 3beeps
Error 3: Feed Error, copy lead edge damaged or curled up does
not allow the paper entry.
Pull back copy and reset folder logic
Error detected at folder power On with red led On and beep code
4 beeps Error 4 : Sensor C3 cover or not working Press and hold
arrow key to activate the Automatic Eject Procedure.
5 beeps Error 5 : Sensor C2 cover or not working Press and hold
arrow key to activate the Automatic Eject Procedure.
6 beeps Error 6 : Sensor S2 cover or not working Press and hold
arrow key to activate the Automatic Eject Procedure.
7 beeps Error 7 : Sensor S1 cover or not working Press and hold
arrow key to activate the Automatic Eject Procedure.
8 beeps Error 8 : Sensor S0 cover or not working Press and hold
arrow key to activate the Automatic Eject Procedure.
9 beeps Error 9 : Time out between sensor C2 and C3 expired, error to
avoid paper around mobile pin roller
Automatic Eject Procedure
Press the arrow key for 5-10 seconds to get out the copy, the folding rolls
will actuate to eject the paper jammed.
If the Procedure above does not work it is necessary to perform the manual
procedure.
