WATER-RESISTANCE
Your George J. von Burg automatic Classic Aviator chronograph watch has been designed to
withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 metres (165 feet or 5 ATM), providing the crown is
correctly screw-locked in place. Each individual timepiece we produce is tested in a pressure chamber
to a depth of 50 metres (165 feet or 5 ATM), prior to it leaving our centre. We advise, however, that
you regularly check that the crown remains securely locked before entering a water environment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must never activate the chronograph functions of your watch
while submerged in any underwater environment. Remember always to rinse your watch
carefully in fresh water after every exposure to seawater.
