Installation

The GE 315 VP(C)  to GE 840 VP(C)  is available with
supply air on the right-hand side (as shown) or supply air
on the left-hand side AND as a heat exchanger (VP) or as
a reversible cool/heat exchanger.
When it is a left-hand version the unit is build in a mirror
image, which means that the power connection also is
placed on the left-hand side.
Concerning the reversible heat exchanger (VPC) the unit
has two condensate outlets. At all times there will appear
condensation from the heat exchanger. Both outlets must
be connected a suitable drain on site. As well as the single
outlet (VP-version)
The unit must be positioned on a subsurface such that
vibrations from the unit cannot be transferred down through
ceiling and walls and such that the condensate drain with
the necessary trap can be led to an internal drain without
danger of freezing in cold weather, as in the winter period a
unit may produce up to 5-8 litres of condensate per dayTo
allow access for service and maintenance, there must be a
clear space of a minimum of 600 mm in front of the unit. If
the unit is located in the loft, there must be free access to
the unit from the loft hatch.
