Platform Controls

The platform controls, used to operate the machine
from the platform or while standing on the ground,
can also be used to tune the performance of the
machine.

Moving the joystick or activating a button or toggle
switch sends a signal to the Electronic Control
Module (ECM). When the ECM is in the function
mode, the platform controls are used to operate
the various machine functions. When the ECM is in
the programming mode (PS is shown in the
diagnostic display window), the platform controls
are used to adjust the function speed parameters.

The platform controls contains an electronic circuit
board, joystick, membrane decal, buttons, switches
and LEDs. Potentiometer-equipped joysticks can
be adjusted to maintain performance.
