In order
to ensure your security, only use
the machine with original blade.
The GENIE lever cutting machine GA42 is
suitable for cutting of paper, foil, plastics etc.
and should only used for such materials.
Cutting of not suitable material for
example Metal can cause damage to
the machine (e.g. knife could be
destroyed).

Set the pressing rail into the anchorages
beside the lower cutting knife (to be seen in
the illustration). The bent side must show
downward.
Correct application and cutting of suitable
materials are relevant for a long life span and
a clean cutting knife.
An inappropriate use, like the
exceeding of the gumption length or
max.

materials can cause a damage of the
cutting knife.
CUTTING:
- Raise the cutting lever

- Putting the cutting material carefully in a right
angle.
- Fix the material, by pressing down the
pressing rail

- Press the cutting lever downward

material is cut.
Note: Press the cutting knife always carefully
to the metal plane.
CLEANING
Plaese clean the lever cutting machine with a
dry, soft cloth. Use never liquid cleaning
agents.
Adjustment of the lever cutting machine:
The lever-cutting knife shouldn´t be
dropped down.
If the stability of the lever measurer is no longer
given, pull please the adjusting screw

help of an key (5 mm) so that it can be manually
lifted and/or lowered without problems.
HANDLING THE GUARANTEE
Thank you very much for purchasing this GENIE product. Please note the following advice
whenever this machine does not function faultlessly, contrary to expectations. The guarantee
period amounts to 24 months from the date of purchase, provided that the machine has been
used appropriately. Please keep the proof-of-purchase voucher and original packaging in a safe
place. The warranty is only valid for defects in materials or fabrication. However, it is invalid for
damage that has occurred to breakable parts, e.g., on the casing. Machines that have been
damaged by inappropriate use externally, are excluded from being exchanged. A guarantee will
expire whenever any repairs have been carried out without the express consent of our customer
service department.
Repairs under the guarantee can only be made when the proof-of-purchase voucher is enclosed
with the defective machine – please notify us about the return by telephone! Only adequately pre-
paid returns bearing the appropriate return number can be accepted. Please give your name,
address, post code, town and telephone number with the dialing code. Please state the reason
