Advanced Confi guration
Safety and Care
By default, the router is confi gured correctly for most home networks.
Changing the confi guration is only advised for advanced users as it may
interrupt your connection. If you need to reset the router back to its
factory settings, please refer to page 20.
Confi guring your Platinum is done via your web-browser. The label on
the back of the device (as shown on page 5) lists the URL you need
to connect to. It also lists the user name and password required in
order to log in.
If you can no longer access the back of your Platinum, refer to the label
included in the box as described on page 5.
Safe operation
• Never look directly into the end of a fi bre optic cable.
• Use only the supplied power adapter and make sure the
adapter is rated for use with the power supply.
• Indoor use only.
• Never expose to or immerse in water.
• Do not block the air vents (the device will overheat).
Operating conditions
• Do not operate in temperatures below 0° C or above 40° C.
Repair and service
• Do not open the housing. The Platinum does not contain user
servicesable parts inside.
• Please contact your service provider if problems arise.
Care
• Wipe your Platinum with a soft, dry cloth.
• Persistent dirt can be removed by wiping with a damp cloth.
• This product must not be disposed of in your normal
household waste.
• Please take it to your regular electronic waste collection and
recycling location.
