OPERATION
EVENT
Start
Turn on instrument while holding pressed
"TOUCH" button.
All REVERB and DSP EFFECTS leds are flashing.
Leds
Press "TOUCH" button.
All leds go on. Check that all leds are on.
Buttons
Press "TOUCH" button.
Only "TOUCH" button leds is on.
Press all panel buttons one by one except
"TOUCH" button
Every button pressed must light corresponding led.
Pedals
Press "TOUCH" button
REVERB-HALL led is on and REVERB-STAGE led is flashing.
Press left pedal [SOFT]
The first 4 SOUND leds are on with pedal pressed, off with pedal released.
Press right pedal [DAMPER]
The last 4 SOUND leds are on with pedal pressed, off with pedal released.
Midi
Press "TOUCH" button
REVERB-HALL and STAGE leds are on and the REVERB ROOM led is flashing.
Loop the MIDI OUT with the MIDI IN
connectors with a single MIDI cable.
If a loop is verified the first 4 leds go on, if you disconnect the loop, all leds go off.
Sinus Test
Press "TOUCH" button
All REVERB leds go on, DSP EFFECT PHASER and TRANSPOSE leds flash. A 1000Hz sinusoidal
tone must sound.
Press and instantly release TRANSPOSE

These buttons should slightly modify frequency within range 10-2756Hz.
Press and hold TRA/-
These buttons should quickly modify frequency within range 10-2756Hz.
Move the VOLUME potentiometer.
During this test the volume level is fixed to test the right output level. Moving the VOLUME you should
set a different output level, this signal is useful to check power amplifier and speakers.
Exit
Press "TOUCH" button
DSP EFFECT PHASER led remain on confirming end of test.
Repeat
Press and hold "TOUCH" button.
Autotest starts again.
Press "TOUCH" button to stop.
The instrument is ready to play.
Note
The autotest operations can be performed only in the sequence specified above.
During test all normal keyboard functions are disabled.
At the end of autotest a memory reset takes place. A loud "click" during reset is normal.
