Security settings
You can use PIN1 code, PIN2 code, keypad lock, phone code to
protect the phone’s various functions.
SIM1 security settings:
SIM1 lock
:
Inputting the PIN code is required. Only correct P IN code is
provided then the lock can be set. If the SIM card lock is set
at ON, inputting the PIN password will be required when the
mobile phone is started each time. Inputting an incorrect PIN
password will lead to the inputting of the PUK code (the personal
unlocking key code). The PUK code is used to unlock and change
the locked PIN code. Please contact your network operator if the
PUK code has not been provided or missed.
Fixed dial
:
If this function is available for your SIM card, you can limit the
outgoing numbers. If it has been activated, you can only dial the
numbers on the fixed dialing list. Setting this function requires
you to enter the PIN2 code, which needs your network operator
to support.
Note: After the PIN2 code has been entered when the mobile phone is
started, it needs the inputting of the PIN2 code to shut down the mobile
phone. Therefore, if you don’t want others to change the fixed dialing
status, you may shut down the mobile phone after setting and restart it
again.
Barred dial
:
If this function is available for your SIM card, you can limit the
outgoing numbers. If it has been activated, you can not dial the
numbers on the fixed dialing list. Setting this function requires
