Channel Configuration Screen
The Channel Configuration screen shown in
presents a screen of configuration options
that determine operating parameters for the DTE interface of the DSU. Each option is identified by
a selection number or letter, and displays its current setting.

64kbps (1 DS0) through 1536 kbps (24 DS0s) (Default)
or 56kbps (1 DS0) through 1344 kbps (24 DS0s)

Channel Allocation:
Consecutive – selects consecutive DS0s for payload (Default)
Alternate – selects alternate DS0s for payload; unused DS0s are forced

and uses it for diagnostic channel communications with remote
