General Checks
Check the following points before operating the Dust Fighter:
Ensure the Dust Fighter is secured and positioned on level ground
Ensure the immediate area surrounding the unit is dry, clean and free of debris
Wear appropriate PPE, including eye protection and non-conductive gloves
Do Not attempt any repairs, contact Sandhurst
Connect the Water Supply
Safety Notes:
Extreme care and adequate precautions must be taken to prevent trapping fingers during the
connection process.
Always use certified lifting equipment

Note:
Only use clean water from a controlled reliable
source: inhaling contaminated water vapour
can be harmful.
1.
Verify the water valve
‘A’
is in the CLOSED
position as shown left.
2.
Connect the water supply to fitting
‘B’
.
Connect the Electrical Supply
Safety Notes:
Avoid water contact with the power source.
Do not wear jewellery while operating this equipment.
Do not operate if the electrical cord is worn or cut through.
Do not attempt any electrical repairs - contact Sandhurst.

Verify that switch
‘A’
is in the OFF position
2.
Connect to socket
‘B’
240V power with the
following requirements:
The extension cord must be marked ‘WA’
or indicate it is suitable for outdoor use
The power source must be protected with a
Residual Current Device (RCD)
Use extension cords of adequate length
(see table below for recommendations)
Recommended Power Cables and Lengths
15m (50 ft.) 10/3 - (L5-20P) - L5-20R)
30m (100 ft.) 12/3 - (5-15P) - 5-15R)
