Packet Data Protocol type
Specifies the type of the packet data protocol. It is stored in non-volatile (NV) memory only when

Access Point Name
The logical name that is used to select the GGSN or the external packet data network. Maximum length: 63 char-
acters. If the value is null or omitted, then the subscription value will be requested. It is stored in non-volatile
(NV) memory only when
=0.
Data Compression
Controls the PDP data compression; applicable for Subnetwork Dependent Convergence Protocol (SNDCP)
only. It is stored in non-volatile (NV) memory only when
=0. See 3GPP TS 44.065 for details.

Header Compression
Controls the PDP header compression. It is stored in non-volatile (NV) memory only when
=0. See 3GPP
TS 44.065, 3GPP TS 25.323 for details.
[0]
off
Numeric parameter used to indicate the NAS signalling priority requested for this PDP context. The MT utilises
the provide NSLPI information as specified in 3GPP TS 24.301; and 3GPP TS 24.008.
[0]
Indicates that this PDP context is to be activated with the value for the low pri-
ority indicator configured in the MT.
1
Indicates that this PDP context is to be activated with the value for the low pri-
ority indicator set to "MS is not configured for NAS signalling low priority".
Notes
• Only the context definitions with
=0 can be stored in non-volatile (NV) memory.
• Only the context definitions with
=0 can be stored when module is in minimum functionality
(
=0). If the module is set to minimum functionality, all the other context definitions will be lost.
