Now press the Sart/Stop button 3 in main window. Watch the input and GSeat messages in
lists 4.1 and 4.2.
5.6 Run the game
Now run the game you want to play (it should correspond to the game specified in input
profile, visible in textfield 1.1).
5.7 Important: enjoy resistingthe forces
As soon as telemetry becomes available, you can feel a progressive pressure on your back
as the mobile backrest pushes forward to simulate a firm backrest in a vehicle seat.
In a real vehicle, we do not let our body fall or slip with the g-forces, but we resist. Our thighs,
armsand torso muscles work together, keeping our body steady.
In a simulator, we sometimes forget to resist forces as we feel safe. To fully feel the forces,
you may sometimes need to consciously remember to resist like in real life, otherwise the
upper backrest will move until it bumps on the safety range limit and you will not feel forces
anymore.
This is very important to fully enjoy GS-COBRA: resist the forces, keeping your torso
steady. Do not let the upper backrest move you like a doll.
CAUTION
If you often hear the upper backrest bumping:
•
Your torso may have moved too far forward or left or right because of forces. In
such case, move your torso backward and center.
•
Remember to resist against the forces like in real life. Keep your torso as
steady as possible.
•
The harness may not be properly adjusted or not enough tight. See paragraph
5.4
•
The forces may be too strong. See paragraph 6.6 to create a personalized
GSeat profile.
