MAINTENANCE
7.1
Warning

Severe personal injury and/or damage to property may occur if maintenance work is carried out incorrectly, or if the equipment is
not used according to the manufacturer specifications.
Correct and safe operation of this device is dependent on proper transport, storage as well as careful use and maintenance.
Warning
When working with toxic gases, ensure that no concentrations dangerous to health can occur at the position of work. If the gas
connections are made incorrectly, accidents may occur as a result of toxic, flammable or explosive gases.
Caution
The electronic components and modules fitted in this device must be protected against electrostatic charges and discharging.
Comprehensive measures must therefore be made to protect them wherever they are manufactured, tested, transported and
installed.
Warning
Before initiating any maintenance and/or repair operation, disconnect all power cables from the mains supply.
Warning
Replacement of Oxygen and H2S sensors
O2 and H2S sensors contain an electrolyte which can burn unprotected skin.
The sensor housing must not be damaged when the sensor is replaced. If you nevertheless come into contact with the
electrolyte, please apply the following instructions:
Skin contact
Wash with clean water
Eyes contact
Rinse eyes thoroughly with clean water for at least 10 minutes. If the eyes remain irritated, seek medical
advice.
Ingestion
Rinse the mouth with clean water. Do not regurgitate. Seek medical advice immediately.
Inhalation
Breathe and rest outdoors. If troubles should persist seek medical advice
Please also note that O2 and H2S sensors are toxic waste and must be packed and disposed of accordingly!
