Introduction
DCP
(Drive Control Position) is a protocol used for the serial con-
nection, via RS485 interface, between a Lift Controller and a Drive
Controller.
The
SBI DCP 33
card supports the
DCP3
protocol for Lift Controller
without absolute encoder (not all functions):
● control via DCP serial connection rather than digital I/O
● Status messages, useful for diagnostics, are also transmitted
via DCP
● possibility of accessing all menus and parameters from the
“host DCP” keypad and display (see 7 - DCP master keys and
drive functions/keys conversion table).
Firmware compatibility
The card is compatible with AVyL drives with firmware 3.6 or later.
