Controlling the Receiver Unit using RS-232

(Matrix Mode)

1.

Prepare the Receiver unit by connecting an RS-232 cable from the computer
or other controlling device to the RS-232 serial port on the back of the
Receiver unit (see page 6 - 7).

2. Con

gure the controller using the RS-232 settings on page 25.

Example 1

:

Route input 3 on the 8x8 Matrix to Output 4 on the 8x CAT6 Extender

for HDMI.

Use the RS-232 controller to send the following command:

The blue LED for In 3 will turn bright blue and the source from Input 4 on the 8x8
Matrix will be displayed. See page 25 for details on routing using RS-232.
