A

When using

Last Resort

mode, ensure that the start or end characters(s) (or the

sequence of characters that you choose) is unique in the string. If characters are

repeated elsewhere in the string, this will cause unreliable results.

B

If the only constant characters in the string are not the fi rst (or last) 3 charac-

ters, then you may specify the constant character as the fi rst (or last) in the

string, even if in reality it is not.

The GS120 will then treat this as the fi rst (or last) character, and ignore any un-

wanted characters before (or aft er) it. As long as the distance between this char-

acter and the weight string remains constant, the string will still be accepted.
