9.3.1 Free-standing tripod frame
The tripod frame is transported in three assemblies.
Assemble the tripod frame in the centre of the space. - Do not mount on the parapet edge
due to the risk of falling.
Lay both U-profile rails (1) in a triangle on
level ground.
Attach a ballast container (4) to this;
likewise, attach standpipe (2) with struts
(3). - The standpipe can be turned axially
by 180°, depending on which direction the
swivel arm is to be swung inwards.
Screw down standpipe (2) at bottom and
struts (3) at both ends (SW 24).

Suspend swivel arm hoist and secure with a linchpin.
Carefully push the entire tripod frame with
swivel arm hoist and ballast container (4)
to the parapet.
- Caution, danger of falling!
Load up the ballast container (4) with
4.0 kN (400 kg).
