Cancelling the pressing
procedure
▶
Press and hold stop button.
Result
✓ The roller drive in the pressing tool
returns to its starting position. The
pressing procedure must be repeated for
a complete press connection. The
pressing attachment must not be
removed or rotated at this time.
Rectifying malfunctions
Fault Cause Action
Unable to activate the
pressing tool out of idle
state, no LEDs are lit.
Mains cable is not
connected. ▶ Connect the mains plug to the power
supply system.
Mains cable or mains
plug is defective.
▶ Have the mains cable and mains plug
examined at an authorised repair
shop and replaced if necessary.
Green LED flashes.
Retaining pin has
been inserted incor-
rectly or has not been
pushed in until the
stop position is
reached.
▶ Push the retaining pin in until the stop
position is reached.
Contacts for pressing
jaw detection on the
pressing cylinder are
dirty.
▶ Clean the contacts on the pressing
cylinder and on the pressing jaw or
adapter jaw.
Without the press-
fitting, the pressing
jaw is closed.
▶ Place the pressing jaw on the
pressfitting.
Closing sensor on
pressing jaw is
defective.
▶ Replace the pressing jaw.
Adapter jaw is not
correctly hooked into
the pressing collar.
▶ Hook the adapter jaw in again.
Green LED lights up and
red LED flashes.
Pressing attachment
is not compatible with
the pressing tool.
▶ Only pressing attachments with the
compatibility mark are allowed to
be used.
Green LED flashes and
roller drive moves back to
its starting position.
Retaining pin has
come loose.
▶ Push the retaining pin in until the stop
position is reached. Red LED flashes
and signal tone sounds.
▶ Repeat the pressing operation.
Red LED flashes.
Start button was
released too soon.
▶ Press start button again. Roller drive
moves to its starting position.
▶ Repeat the pressing operation: press
the start button for at least 2 seconds.
