CONNECTIONS
USING HEADPHONES
Two sets of standard headphones can be
connected via the HEADPHONES outputs
for private practice. The internal speakers are
automatically muted when headphones are
connected to headphone 1 jack.
MIDI OUTPUT
Use the MIDI OUTPUT to transfer MIDI data,
including note and touch velocity, via a 5-pin MIDI
cable (not included) from the piano to the MIDI
INPUT of a compatible external device.
USING USB MIDI
The DP-10X allows the transfer of MIDI via USB from
the piano to an audio interface or “host.” Use the
audio interface to control the MIDI signal.
AUX IN
The AUX IN stereo phono inputs allows you to mix
an external sound source (such as a smartphone
or MP3 player) with the piano’s internal sounds, for
playback through the piano’s in-built speakers or
headphone output.
The volume of the AUX IN is controlled by the
INPUT LEVEL dial.
LINE OUT
The LINE OUT stereo phono outputs can be
used to connect the piano to an external sound
system, such as a keyboard amplifier, interface, or
mixer. The internal speakers will remain on unless
headphones are connected to headphone jack 1.
