Stopping the Firewall on Windows XP Service Pack 2
1.) On the network computer, access the Control Panel , as follows:
a.) Press Start .
b.) Select Settings
c.) Select Control Panel from the Menu
2.) Double-click on Windows Firewall.
The Windows Firewall dialog box opens:
3.) Select the General Tab.
4.) Enable the Off check box (as shown in Figure 3-156 ).
5.) Press OK .
6.) Close all windows to return to the scanning screen.
