F.  ELECTRONIC DUCTED (RARED& RPRED) INSTALLATION

(cont.)

16.  If you are using your system with the RARES1A

room sensor, you will need to connect the pigtail
provided with the RAES1A Kit to the T5 terminal.

8VLQJZLUHFRQQHFWRUVFRQQHFWLQWHUPHGLDU\ZLUHV

to the pigtail which will connect the pigtail to the
sensor.

17.

OPTIONAL:

If you want your AC to be connected

to your RV’s load shed system (not included with
all RVs), first connect by the provided 3-pin pigtail
to the T5 terminal. Then, using wire connectors,
connect the 2 pigtail wires to your RVs load shed
system. Refer to your RV/load shed system’s user
manual.

18.

OPTIONAL:

If you have a furnace you would like to

control via your thermostat, using wire connectors,
connect the 2 blue wires to your furnace. Refer to
your furnace’s owner’s manual.

19.  Keeping all connections inside the control box,

URXWHWKHZLUHVWKURXJKWKH8VKDSHGRSHQLQJ

on the side. Then, taking care not to pinch/crush
any wires, rotate the base of the main control box
upward and reinstall the 3 screws removed in Step
9 to seal the control box.

20.  For RARED, align the plastic ceiling panel to the

mounting template. For RPRED, align the ceiling
panel base to the mounting template.

8VLQJWKHSURYLGHGVKHHWPHWDOVFUHZVVHFXUH

the ceiling panel or ceiling panel base to the
mounting template. The filter and filter cover must
be removed to install these screws.

22.  For RARED install the filter and filter cover into the

ceiling assembly by depressing the two tabs on the
filter cover and snapping it into the filter cavity. Next
install the left and right screw cover. Take note of
the “L” and “R” embossed indicator on the ceiling
assembly and on the back side of the screw covers.

23.  For RPRED, install the filter retainer with the filter

into the ceiling  panel base by sliding it under two
tabs on the ceiling panel base and then rotating
downwards. Then align the ceiling panel cover via
the slide knob and push upward in the direction
of the ceiling to snap the ceiling panel cover into
place.

24.  Installation is complete. Refer to thermostat

operating instructions before attempting to operate.
